Product Introduction
Trivolib 0.2/500/2 mg Tablet ER is a combination of three active ingredients: Vildagliptin, Metformin, and Glimepiride. This extended-release tablet is designed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus, especially in cases where blood sugar levels are not adequately controlled with diet and exercise alone. The three components work together to help lower blood glucose levels, improve insulin sensitivity, and manage postprandial blood sugar spikes.
Uses
- Management of type 2 diabetes (non-insulin dependent diabetes)
- Helps control blood glucose levels in adults, especially those who are unable to achieve adequate control through diet and exercise alone.
- Often prescribed when metformin or glimepiride alone is insufficient in controlling blood sugar.
Benefits
- Vildagliptin increases insulin release when blood glucose levels are high and decreases glucose production by the liver.
- Metformin improves insulin sensitivity and reduces the amount of sugar the liver produces.
- Glimepiride increases insulin secretion from the pancreas, helping lower blood sugar levels after meals.
- Extended-release formulation for once-daily dosing, offering better blood sugar control and fewer fluctuations.
- Helps reduce the risk of long-term complications from diabetes, including kidney damage and nerve issues.
