Shifix 200 mg Tablet contains Cefixime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, effectively killing the bacteria. It is commonly prescribed for bacterial infections that are moderately severe or resistant to first-line antibiotics.
