Mesna Injection contains Mesna, a uroprotective agent used to prevent hemorrhagic cystitis (bleeding and inflammation of the bladder) caused by alkylating chemotherapy agents, particularly Ifosfamide and Cyclophosphamide. It works by binding and neutralizing toxic metabolites in the urinary tract.
