Levlar Tablet is a hormonal contraceptive that contains two active ingredients: Levonorgestrel (a progestin) and Ethinylestradiol (an estrogen). It works by preventing the release of an egg from the ovary (ovulation) and making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus. It also changes the lining of the uterus to prevent attachment of a fertilized egg.
