Levemir 100IU/ml FlexPen is a pre-filled insulin injection pen containing Insulin Detemir, a long-acting human insulin analog. It is used to improve blood sugar control in adults, adolescents, and children (aged 2 years and above) with type 1 or type 2 diabetes mellitus. It provides a steady, prolonged effect to help manage blood sugar levels over 24 hours.
Uses
- Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus
- Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (when oral medications are insufficient)
- As part of a basal-bolus insulin regimen or alone as basal therapy
