Product Introduction
Femovan SCT Tablet is a low-dose hormonal contraceptive containing a combination of Ethinylestradiol (a synthetic estrogen) and Gestodene (a third-generation progestin). It is taken once daily for 21 days in a menstrual cycle to prevent ovulation, thicken cervical mucus, and alter the uterine lining, thereby preventing pregnancy. It also provides hormonal balance, making it useful in treating irregular periods, acne, and menstrual pain.

Safety Advice
- Take one tablet daily at the same time for 21 days, followed by a 7-day break
- Not recommended for women who smoke and are over 35 years of age
- Avoid use in patients with history of blood clots, stroke, liver disease, or breast cancer
- Inform your doctor if you’re on antibiotics, anti-epileptics, or St. John’s Wort, as these can reduce effectiveness
- Not suitable during pregnancy; stop if pregnancy is suspected
- Use with caution in breastfeeding women – consult a doctor
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and children
