Ciplox 500 Mg Tablet is an antibiotic belonging to the fluoroquinolone class. It is effective against a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. Ciprofloxacin, the active ingredient, inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes essential for DNA replication and cell division, thereby stopping bacterial growth.
