Amaryl 1 mg Tablet belongs to the class of sulfonylureas. It helps the pancreas release more insulin and improves the body’s use of insulin. It is prescribed to patients with type 2 diabetes when diet, exercise, and weight reduction alone do not adequately control blood sugar levels.
